| Spiders are Cool - Saturday, July 31, 2004 at 11:43 PM

The other day I was standing out on my porch checking out the babes that were moving into our appartments. While standing there I noticed this spider that had spun a huge web from the railing to the over-hang infront of our door. Being the asshole that I am, I broke one of the stands, and the whole thing just completelly broke...this web had to of been like 2 feet wide..AT LEAST...anyways i went in and came back out like 5 hours later....the spider had already started to spin a NEW web...i kinda blew on the spider and I guess he lost his balance because he just like fell all the way to the ground(remember we live on the 2nd story).....but as I turned to walk back in, I noticed he had like pulled a spider man move and was still hanging bye a long ass strand. Tonight I go back outside and he had completelly re-done his/her web....pretty impressive....and if you must know..yes I broke the same strand that I had broke the night before...but this time the web didn't break..I guess the spiderlearned it's lesson from last time. On another note the Braves are owning it up, and work still sucks.

| Florida Trip - Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 9:38 PM

There's no place like home...seriousally. Don't get me wrong, visiting with family and cousins is alot of fun, but it's nice to be back in your own bed. I don't think getting a total of 10 hours of sleep during a 4 day stretch is very good, but hey...I got to see alot of cousins I don't normally get to see, and we had some pretty intense poker games. All this poker playing is finally going to get me to order some real chips. I think a few of us are going to start a weekly/monthly poker game so that should be alot of fun. Aside from running out of gas in the middle of nowhere it was a good trip. If you want to know about that, then you should prob just IM me and we can talk there...lol. The reception was nice, and I think my cousin, and new cousin will be good for eachother. Anyways, I was going to talk about the Jackass "Democratic" Convention, but I am going to wait a few days so I don't say something I will regret at a later date.

| The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly - Monday, July 19, 2004 at 7:23 PM

There are many good things about living close to home, but then there are also some disadvantages. For instance today, I had to go home and mow the lawn at my parents house because my dad hurt his back and he couldn't do it. I guess seeing the grass at one-half a foot tall was starting to annoy him. What can I say..i'm the loving son, so I guess it's my job to be kind and do the right thing. In the end I made $50 so it's all good. The only thing I really don't enjoy about living so close to home (30 minutes) is that I feel obligated to always go visit. I'm not sure how this is, because I pretty much pay all my expenses so it's not like I have an obligation to always go home and visit each week. Once again I guess it's the loyal son part showing it's true colors. On the bright side, I can go get groceries at the AFB (Air Force Base) anytime I want. This is a big deal because food at the AFB is very cheap because they are not trying to make a profit off you. Other the mowing the lawn, and working out with Matt I haven't done much today. Ok well my Braves are playing the Phillies and I'm about ready yo go eat...so l8tr.

| Freaken "dump runs" - Friday, July 16, 2004 at 8:16 PM
|
The only word that can describe what I went through today, is the word SUCK. If having to deal with people who think your main goal in life is to bring them more junk for them to clutter their houses with wasn't enough, today was "dump run" day. You may ask what that is. Well it's a day when we gather up all the CRAP (chairs, pianos, couches, dryers, washers, fridges) in the store that have been sitting around for monthes because quite frankly....they are far too crappy to buy, and we haul it all off to the county dump. I think everyone should be required to visit a dump at least one time in their lives just so they get a feeling what it's like for the people around the world that actually live in these horid places. Anyways....a word of advice, when you decide to go visit the dump...don't go when the heat index is 110 degrees. Luckily i bugged my boss enough about health concerns that he went and bought some masks...you know like the ones people wear in hospitals...yea..I looked sexy. Well, since I'm a noob to all of this blogger stuff, I think I will end it there as I am kinda sweaty from being at the gym and I really am kinda hungry. Hopefully after reading this, you will appreciate your jobs a little more and not complain about them, especially if you have the luxury of air conditioning.
